A couple of decades ago the animal rights rectums had laws passed in many of the Australian states to stop the use of exotic animals in circus shows. Then they screamed when the news broke about the majority of the animals having to be killed because they were no more than odd household pets after many generations of domestic life with the circus families. Most would end up starving to death if placed in one of the open zoos because they only knew about being fed by humans, and the closed zoos didn't want them, so the owners were faced with two choices, (a) spend hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to care for them, (b) kill them. The governments refused to take over the care, the animal rights rectums refused to take over the care, and the owners didn't have the money, so they put all their pets down. Want to bet a lot of the exotic animals in the USA are destined for death in June 2017.
