In the last few days, when I got to spearfishlaketales.com I get warnings the site is unsafe, and have to override to get there. This is with Google Chrome browser. I don't know if the warnings are because the browser has been updated, or if something at spearfishlaketales.com has changed.

I get the same warnings. The system is not allowing me to log in either. I'll send an email to Not Wes and see if he can do anything about it.

Thanks, Not Wes!

I cleared my history and emptied my caches. I didn't get the warning message when I entered the website and I was able to log on to the forum. Maybe that will work for you. I'll check the forum later to see if you are still having problems.

I never log in, just go to spearfishlaketales.com, then select "new forum" to get to the forum.

I also got a security warning from Firefox when accessing www.spearfishlaketales.com (used the link from the wiki to go there), though I haven't visited the site for a while.
The detailed error message is: Inspecting the security certificate I see that it is for mail.spearfishlaketales.net and spearfishlaketales.net and www.spearfishlaketales.net. This certificate is valid since 21 December 2022 so is likely the cause of the recent warnings. Pointing Firefox to www.spearfishlaketales.net works without problem. I cannot see how to edit the link in the left navigation menu on the wiki - probably needs more rights and knowledge than I have.

P.S. I have realised that all links on the wiki for books and chapter pages point to the .com site and the potential for changing some but not all is too great to make it worth trying to change wiki links to the .net site.
As all the names point to the same server (IP address) it would be better if a certificate valid for both the .com and .net names were installed.

I can confirm I too do not get warnings if I go to spearfishlaketales.net. Guess I'll have to try and forget the .com address.

Not Wes advises me that Wes' SIL has fixed the problem with the certificate. There should be o more warnings. Thanks Not Wes.
