I was going back to fill in some holes in my ebook collection, and I noticed what looks like some wrong prices on the stores page and on lulu.com
-the main store page lists everything from "The Last Place You Look" onwards as "from 19.99" instead of the reduced prices that are usually set after a book finishes posting.
-the "The Last Place You Look" store page lists the lulu Epub as $8.00... but on lulu itself, it's priced as $21.95
-other recent books show similar pricing issues, but I haven't put together a complete list or anything yet.
I assume this is unintentional? (ie. There wasn't a change in pricing strategy at this point, and these higher prices are actually intended for the more recent books)?

Jonathon,
Anything, including pricing, before "Plain Jane" was all Wes's doing. I have fixed discrepancies in
some books, but not many. Figure out what they are and send me a list as I'm not going to have time
to do all the comparison for a while yet. I might have to get permission from Kathy in order to do
some work. I'll take a look at what you see and decide then.
Wes liked people buying from him so he got a bigger slice of the pie, as Lulu I think takes 30% of
the retail price when people purchase from them, so his portion isn't as much. I never worried about
pricing on most of his books as it was all set by him -- I just never kept track of it. You'll
notice all those $20 books he never reduced the price on before he died. I've just maintained the
status quo on books released after he died, though I did talk Kathy into letting me drop the price
some on the oldest $20 books in the queue. They went on "holiday pricing" sale at the end of last
year and the prices were never raised after the sale was over.
Contact me off list and we'll see what can be done. Thanks for pointing out the problem.

Ok, so at least part of what I was noticing is probably the jump up from the holiday sale pricing that's on the older books. That's fine, and sounds like it's intentional.
I'll put together a list of what I notice for actual discrepancy between various listings for the same book (like the $8 vs $22 on "The Last Place You Look"), and send it to you via email.
