I mean sword fightin' fencers, not people who pound posts into the ground. Modern competition fencing, not swashbuckling high-seas-pirate-attack kind, which is entirely different. Foil and sabre disciplines, epee not needed. Wes has some fencing in a future story, and my own limited experience with it from a college fencing course 50 years ago isn't enough to sort out inconsistencies I think I see. Hey, maybe he's totally correct! Rhings could have changed in 50 years, too. Or does anyone have any friends who are fencers and could clarify some points for us? Contact me using the info on the site contact page. The story doesn't post until February, but I figure finding help in this little-known subject (Wes was fond of that sort of thing!) might take a while.
Thanks in advance,
Not Wes

There's also a book with a heavy Polish accent by one character that could stand some doctoring as to me it sounds like the guy is talking through a mix of German and French and possibly Italian (mock Latin?) and who knows what other accents rather than Polish. Anyone with Polish grandparents who hear it all the time and may be able to help?
Thanks again,
Not Wes
