Was looking at google maps earlier looking to see where a town is in Ohio, when I noticed Hudson just over the border. So I thought I just go and look where Wes's office is. I found it is near a Carnegie Library, Carnegie I found out donated millions, billions in today's money to build libraries, and the one my Dad's home town where I spent a few is also a Carnegie Library. Bit bigger than the one in Hudson and has a stupendous stained glass window overlooking the stairs. The poem inscribed into the window reads Oh for a booke And a shadie nooke Eyther in doore or out For a jollie goode booke Whereon to looke Is better to me than golde With thanks to Carnegie and all others that have built Libraries for our education and enjoyment.

The one Boyd put up is correct. I have no idea where Andy's photo came from.

I think that the pictures Andy Haworth shared were of the Carnegie Library in his dad's home town. Granted, I don't have the curiosity needed to try to locate that place.

Wikipedia has a listing of Carnegie Libraries in Europe. There is maybe a 100 or more in the UK. Many have photographs but they are not always taken head on like the one that Andy showed. Makes it hard to identify.
