A recuring side it the stories is the Cubs getting thier asses wipped. After they have broken thier 108 year record will this change in the stories?

I'm disappointed. They have been outstanding as loveable losers for decades. Now they're just another ball club.

I'm not much of a baseball fan but I have always had a soft spot for the lovable losers. Until Wednesday, when I told my wife that I had read that no matter what, that night, the Cubs would lose. Either they would lose the World Series or their mystique. Being a Southsider, she was not aware of the mystique and that was the first time she heard the term "Lovable Losers"
She switched from Sox to Cubs Wednesday night and is hoping for a rematch because she thought the Indians were adorable.
Me, I don't know. It is hard to love them as the lovable losers anymore.

In back to the Future they predicted the Cubs would win in 2015, but they took to 2016 to do it, not bad for a prediction 30 years ago.
