The next book from Spearfish Lake Tales, Bullring Days Four: My Little Pony, is now available for preorder from the Spearfish Lake Tales Bullring Days Four: My Little Pony store page. Here's the synopsis: This is a sweet, heartwarming story of a young teenage girl and her little pony – pony stock that is, an old four-cylinder economy car converted into a short-track racing car. Telzey’s parents are both in the Army and have been sent to the Persian Gulf as the 2003 war is brewing, so she is staying with her grandparents. Telzey, a racing fan, is sick with worry about her parents, but her new nextdoor neighbors have things that divert her attention, since they’re the family who operates the Bradford Speedway. What’s more, their racer son Will is Telzey’s age, and they become friends almost immediately. It doesn’t take long before Telzey becomes more than just a racing fan! This is the fourth book in the "Bullring Days" series, and takes place in 2003, about twenty years after the end of Bullring Days Three: Banners Flying. There are a total of thirty chapters. You can preorder Bullring Days Four: My Little Pony for as little as $19.99 through the Spearfish Lake Tales Bullring Days Four: My Little Pony page. Preorders will be sent sometime on the afternoon of September 4, Eastern Daylight Time. There is a "story behind the story" on this one but I'll wait until we're a little ways into the book's posting before I put it on the Forum. -- Wes

Hey, Wes. The young girl has waited patiently for 9 years to show her face. She probably thought you had forgotten all about her. In fact, only the first 4 or 5 books had longer waiting periods. We're fortunate you still have enough of a backlog of books to post 3 times a week. Some authors are lucky to post once a week and then have long periods of inactivity. Thanks for your books.

I mentioned the name of this book to my nephew and his wife. Before I get a chance to tell the plot they both want to know, "Is John de Lancie going to be in it?"
They love his character Discord from the cartoon, which is the only thing that makes it bearable when their young daughter insists on rewatching the show for the umpteenth time.
