Golden Hour, the next book from Spearfish Lake Tales, is now available for preorder from the Spearfish Lake Tales Store page. This is another independent novel, no connection to any other books. Well, except that, again, Wychbold features prominently.
Here's the synopsis:
Kyle Murray, out taking landscape pictures, meets a girl taking selfies beside the road. Chelsea Walsh is wearing a skimpy bathing suit, which makes Kyle’s eyes pop. They have entirely different approaches to photography, and both use their pictures to supplement mediocre day-job income. They help each other with their photography and a relationship develops.
Chelsea is forced to relocate for a living-wage job, and Kyle then moves to a much better job creating an even-greater separation. Both date others but keep in touch. Kyle tries to form other relationships, but the results are hilariously disastrous. Chelsea’s are ho-hum. No cameras are involved in either’s new relationship attempts, though Kyle does take some pictures. Chelsea can no longer do bathing suit selfies as she would be fired if she were found out.
A long-distance relationship can’t work for them, so they have to get close up.
This is a Wes Boyd story and you fans know they get back together, but how? And then what happens? You’ll just have to read the book.
It is approximately 107,000 words (about 213 print pages) in 26 chapters.
You can preorder Golden Hour for as little as $19.99 through the Spearfish Lake Tales Store page
Preorders will be sent sometime on the afternoon of Sunday, September 2, Eastern Standard Time.

By the way if the new pages don't show for you, refresh your browser, or clear your caches. On a page that is not displaying the new info, try holding down the left shift keybutton and then click reload/refresh. Try it a few more times if it doesn't work at first.

Not Wes, you've been a busy little beaver. The cover is a great improvement over the last one.
Thanks for all the hard work you've done post-Wes. I hope all the fans realize that the last two books and the ones forthcoming would not be available without yours and a few others dedication and and hard work.
I'm sure Wes, wherever he may be, would be pleased.

Thanks, Boyd.
I've mostly been busy chasing down html goofs in Web pages I've put together. There are still books to come, another couple years' worth I think. Possibly more if things work out favorably.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I believe that Not Wes might still be on vacation. Besides, I think Daniel, Wes' SIL, might be the one responsible for sending you the ebooks. If all else fails, send me an email later today and I might be able to help you. boydpercyatyahoodotcom

Does anyone know how to update the first page of the Wiki so that it lists Golden Hour?
