With the posting of Rag Doll I've gone back, as is my wont, to read the earlier books in the series.
If anyone hasn't read BTG then I urge you to do so, I personally thing it is one of his best.

I agree with you! It's my favorite of the four Full Sails books. The first several chapters really grabbed my attention and wouldn't let it go. And the last chapters were as poignant as anything Wes has ever written.

I felt honoured when Wes asked me to do a quick check on the "sound' of the Newfie accent. I guess he was impressed (and amused) by Captain John Butler in my Swarm story, Chosen Frozen.
He also had me review another story in the Bradford Exiles series, which I hope gets released as well.

Heartily concur with you on this one. I have to say that any story on SOL that brings tears to the eyes is a good'un; BTG started out so unbelievable (I mean, who would jump on a boat and sail away with someone they'd known for an hour!!) but within a chapter or two, it seemed like it was the most natural thing in the world. There's not many SOL books I've gone back and read a second time (I think Aftermath was the last) - but BTG is not one of them 'cos I've now read it THREE times!). Most times I've read Wes' books I've been thinking "What a great movie screenplay!" Anyway, enough raving - it's been unseasonably HOT (like 40 degrees C/103 degrees F Hot) here in Sydney, Australia for the last three days so I have to do something . . . like read Wes Boyd again! Cheers from down under (or is that up on top?)
