A couple of weeks ago I was surprised to be contacted by the Central Valley Business Times in California, and was more surprised to find out that they wanted to interview me about my writing. That was a first for me, as I've never done anything like that before. It turned out to be a pretty good interview, but it shows just how lousy a public speaker I am. If you want to hear the interview, it's at CVBT Wes Boyd interview. -- Wes

You represented yourself very well Wes. I enjoyed the interview. It was nice to get to put your voice with the your picture. I was impressed that the CVBT interviewer had no angle or slant or agenda that usually comes through these days with most other media outlets. Did CVBT tell you how you came to their attention to select you to interview?

Interesting interview. I think it would've been nice to know how you came to their attention and why they chose to interview you.

It's a total mystery to me -- it came right straight out of midair. The only thing I can think of is that someone on the CVBT staff must be a Spearfishlaketales reader, although no one said anything about it. I think he had the business aspects of self-publishing as an original topic but we really never got close to it.

Fun interview. The interviewer was good enough to let you do most of the talking.
Meanwhile, we quite the controversy brewing with dog doping and other issues with the Iditarod. Might be grist for a future tale.
