The html file for chapter 5 was updated since Friday and now the link to chapter 6 at the bottom of the page is commented out and so it's missing when the page is displayed. Thanks, Colin. It should be fixed now. The files I build to send to Dan for future upload all have that commented out "next chapter" link, which he fixes to show in a few days when he does the subsequent chapter upload. When I fix things, the chapter file I have doesn't have the link showing, and I often forget to uncomment that little item. The story of my life, fix one thing, goof up something else. In case anyone is wondering, the fix was just increasing font size on the title of Charlie's newspaper article on Hippolyta that got Jason all bent out of shape. Not really a big deal, but it looked funny, so anyone who downloaded that chapter might want to download it again for their archive. If anyone sees any other errors of any kind, let me know and I'll fix what I can. Not Wes

Yup, it's fixed as viewed from this side of the pond Any news on fixing the various broken links we talked about a couple of weeks ago?

Colin, I was in and fixed a couple of the many that online checker pointed out (don't remember now which pages, likely obscure), but also fixed at least one other that I couldn't find on the list. There are probably lots that don't show, and that 67 or how many ever it was that were pointed out is a low figure.
I personally don't notice many of the ones that are "link back" to previous pages because I almost always use the "back" button on the browser instead of taking time to locate the link back. I learned to do that way back when, and I see lots of other Web sites that have incorrect links back. The back button takes me back to a page I know is there because I came from there. I do very occasionally use the link back when I know it's a long train of links to get where I want to go.
Has anyone noticed that the "return to Main Page" link on most of the site pages takes them back to a different page than the opening page for the site? The default page is "index.html", but the link back from most pages in the site takes them back to "index.htm". It's just a copy of the same page, but it isn't the same one. No difference, so big deal. I've fixed many of those links as I run across them, but only those in the more recent books, and I've probably forgotten to do some of those even. The ones I've fixed take you back to the .html page instead of the .htm page. I don't expect to ever get all of them fixed so the .htm page can be eliminated. Are there still systems or machinery or operating systems that can't handle .html pages and require .htm? I don't know.
I haven't started on the dead external links, mainly because the pages are likely totally gone. When I do see them, I'll just npte/mark them as "dead" or no longer active or something like that.
If anyone has any known ones that cause problems, let me know and I'll do those as I can. I still haven't found anything to help mis with the loop he got into, and I'm hoping it was just an Android error. I didn't get a reply from him, and maybe he couldn't recreate it either.
Thanks,
Not Wes
